We ordered the behemoth SEO audit because we know and follow Daniel on LinkedIn – so we knew that we’d get an audit of genuine value. As a business, we’d previously gone through the rigmarole of finding agencies, then moving SEO in house, then struggling again – it seemed to be an endless loop of false promises and a lack of results – so, we opted to get a behemoth audit to identify where things are going wrong and what, as a business we should do.
The audit was delivered around 3 weeks after we ordered it – it was the most comprehensive audit we’ve ever seen – having had numerous audits over the years, none of them even had 1/10th of what we received.
It was a 600 slide PDF with an audit master sheet, a content map, a priority list and some other supporting data sheets & a video. It was all nicely presented and packed full of information – we learned a lot – far more than we expected, we had major issues with user abandonment, people were bouncing off key pages which lead to us redesigning pages and adjusting our content.
The content audit was painful to read as it showed we’d been spending a lot on content that was contributing literally nothing to our overall strategy. It gave us clear direction on content to get rid of, it also made recommendations on running a new strategy and the process for creating content, monitoring, nurturing and maintaining.
